Problem:

Qualified applicants have been at an all-time low for this Respiratory Care program with only 20 of 30 spots being filled each year. This is below the requirement that is set to keep the program accredited.

” Get the Program Breathing”

Seeing that the program has to get revitalized, 3 different surveys were administered to 500 students each over 3 semesters. Seeing that we are finding that most people have no idea what the program is or what it offers. When told about the program, many of the students complained about how hard it was to find any information on the program and what you can do with this degree. As a result, we see that a redesign of the site would be the fastest solution to increase interest.

“The Transplant”

Below a cleaner look from the old site is showcased here that allows an all-in-one location to find out information about the Respiratory Care field.

Here are the frames of the new design

What’s Next

With implementing the new site layout, we want to see an increase in interest in the Respiratory Care Program. Currently, we have seen a full program for this semester with just the implementation of the survey so when the website facelift is released, we hope to see a major uptick.
